In fact, it may be the one scenario where it sometimes edges Grief esp. My conclusions: if you run on SP P8 or MP full games, Last Wish is very competitive. I have tested both Grief and Last Wish on my Dream Zealot.

My friend that went Dual Dream, followed a build guide for skill point allocation that is on “icy-veins”… her gear varies slightly in that she says Last Wish trumps Grief.Īnd, I don’t know, but she has got her Dual Dream build rocking. With the Last Wish I was needing life pots way more than I was expecting, likely because DD gives up so much defense for melee play style, and, Grief was quicker to eliminate those in melee range, thus taking less damage. So, with that, I’m not sure dual dream is all it’s cracked up to be if your zeal/fanta setup was already dang near optimal to begin with… and you cannot give up the thrash/smash melee play style. Ya, I said zeal/fanta… I did a hodge podge respec, but, I did not max out lightening resist, and I am not running conviction… so, that may be why I’m not seeing why dual dream is the cats meow just yet… I don’t want to give up the melee style play, and I often play solo, so, I kept points in holy shield(melee), cleansing, redemption(solo), which, according to all the build guides I’ve seen - is never recommended. It was nice that is was throwing out life tap, but… as melee, the destruction dual dream -for me- so far is not better than running Gface and Exile. I was able to borrow a last wish pb last night, and, while good, I’m not certain it’s better than grief - for a melee focused zeal/fanta pally.
