LTM Release Schedule: LTM releases are maintained from the Date Available until End of Development (not more than 24 months) and is updated only with bug fixes (no new features or updates to support matrices). When each of these gets released, it becomes the lates t supported LTM, and the previous is no longer the most recently supported LTM. If bug fixes need to be made, we release subsequent LTM versions like 2022.12.12.2. Once a 2023 version is released, the 2022.2 version is no longer current, but it is now the LTM.
For example, a version of Media Composer released in December of 2022 would have been named 2022.12.0.
An LTM version refers to the “newest” of the previous two years. This includes the versions in the current year and the previous two years. Because of that, Avid supports releases for 3 years.
